Ugliest Exterior- Mistral ( I think European Stars and Vision don't look as bad as they're longer.
Come to think of it EUROPEAN VISION wasn't either... So that leaves EUROPEAN STARS.
Ugliest interior: It must go to a Farcus ship... I'll say Costa Mediterranea- I wish Costa had remained with their sleek italian interior design.
a) Island Escape (Former Viking Serenade)b) Mistral, Vision and Stars of Fesitval
Ugliest Interior -
Anything carnival of course
Ugliest interior- Carnival Legend
Ugliest Interior - Atlantic (as built for Home Lines)
Ugliest Interior: No contest, either the Majesty of the Seas or Monarch of the Seas. Of course Monarch had a facelift so lets hope that she is better than the last time I sailed on her in June of 2002.
Exterior: EUROPEAN STARS (blegh!)
Interior: CARNIVAL LEGEND (with COSTA MEDITERRANEA as runner up).
And the ugliest ship inside I would say Carnivals Legend, too glitzy gothic for my taste (though as a marketing gimmick I think it really works well for the general public)
Hope this helps Keitaro, though I wonder what you will doe with these awnsers.
Best, Onno
quote:Originally posted by Onno:For me the ugliest ship outside would be the Millennium of Celebrity Cruises.
It is interesting that Millennium and her sisters are built on the same hull design as RCI's Radience class, yet they look more ugly, in my opinion, and many other peoples!
Brilliance of the Seas (Photo by me!)
I must admit that Millennium had more of a WOW factor considering she was optically more substantial then seeing the Brilliance (where you where onboard at the time ), which looked more smaller due to her more elegant lining and overall finishing (which is a plus for the Radiance class)

By the way, from the outside, close up, ‘Brilliance’ has vast walls of glass not unlike an office block. However, when you are aboard you get great views and a connection with the sea, at every turn, even in the elevators!
In my opinion, 90,000 tons with a connection with the sea, is a pretty impressive piece of design.
