I recently met a very nice Dutch man, Aad Hoogesteger, and his partner while touring Saga Rose in the UK.

Now as many of us know the Dutch do have a passion for cruise ships. It turns out that he has his own web site of ship images. There are lots of nice images, including Silver Whisper, Saga Rose (internal) and the Grand Princess and QM2 in Rotterdam (external) etc. I'm told that an English version will be available soon.

Very nice pictures - thank you for pointing it out. Maybe this is an inducement for the administrators to update the list of links - if I may politely suggest that. (...no need to hurry - but it would be appreciated....)

Great pictures of SAGA ROSE - one of my favourites. She has never looked better. I am impressed that they have kept the original murals outside the Theatre and the pool on C Deck.\

I had a good chuckle when I saw the Beryl Cook prints in the old Club Polaris - as I collect those too - my favourite is her painting "Dancing on the QE2" which hangs in my living room.

Thanks for the site!

Thanks for the link Malcom. Nice images.

For liners buffs, there's a very interesting pictures page related to SS ROTTERDAM's renovation.

Crikey there's more pages for things than I used for Lizzie in Fremantle on mine! Excellent site. We can all spend hours on there.

Great pics! LOVE the SAGA ROSE!! Nice to see a ship with some character. SILVER WHISPER is nice too, but left me a little cold. The cabins are great but the rest of the ship seems a bit sterile. I think this is done on purpose. Very understated.

I do not believe that you can go with them - they have an age limit you just can not possibly comply with.

Thanks for reminding me Ernst.....you had to remind me I'm too young...I've got 9 yrs. to go before I can sail on them UGH....just like I'm too young to stay in the apartment complex I'm in now. I have to move, they won't grandfather me in. My lease is up at the end of this month..I'm just glad the lease was'nt up at the end of Feb. when Tony passed away. So, will the SAGA RUBY/ROSE still be around so I can sail on them in 9 yrs.???

Maybe - cross your fingers, your toes and wind up your appendix to be on the safe side.

Lordy, I could spend so much time on those pages viewing those photos that I would not get anything done for the rest of the day. Outstanding photography and presentations.
