I know the Zenith does not have an atrium but I had heard there is a waterfall in the lobby - is this true? Also, I have sailed on the RCCL Song of America and enjoyed the views from the viking crown lounge. Are there any lounges with great views on the Zenith?

The Fleet Bar on deck 11 offers probably the best views from inside the ship. If you're going through the Panama Canal, though, people tend to line up on deck outside as the ship goes through the locks. This would definitely obstruct your view from inside, unless you want to people-watch. Can't say I remember a waterfall (although there may well be one) I remember a three-deck waterfall on Century. Sorry, can't confirm it on the Zenith.

The fleetbar is great. Don't tell anyone about it.!!! I am the same with the waterfall. I really can't remember but I think so and they had it going when we were in Port once or twice. Or was that on the Horizon. One of them has a water fall but they didn't use it much.

Yes the Zenith does have a waterfall in the Horizon Lobby forward, but it is not a gushing - noticeable waterfall. The water gently flows down a flat part of the wall. Again, I worked on the Zenith for several months and brought her across the Atlantic from the shipyard in Germany. Those Germans build a solid ship. Fleet Bar is an excellent lookout high on top of the ship. I liked the photos of past Chandris ships. The Windsurf Cafe is also a nice place to sit and watch the ocean go by. There is a sauna in the health club on Sun deck that passengers seemed to never find. I designed much of the lighting ques in the Scorpio Disco. The Library on Galaxy Deck is among my favorite rooms to get away from it all. Very quite and the chairs are comfortable, except for the low soft backs. My absolute favorite place to go at night when the stars are bright - is kind of off limits for passengers, but I'll tell you how to get there. On the upper level of the Celebrity Show lounge on Fantasy Deck forward on each side of the lounge there are crew doors. Sometime late at night no one will probably notice, but take the door on the Port side of lounge (Left side looking toward the stage), once through the door - take the stairs to the bottom and you will find a heavy ship door with the latches, unlatch the door and step out onto the bow of the ship. But be very quick once you open the door to shut it again because you don't want the Bridge officers to see you. By all means don't pull a "I'm the King of the World" from Titanic and go all the way up to the bow because the brigde officers will see you. Stay close to the bulkhead and go over to the port side of the ship. You'll have to duck under a piece of machinery but just be careful. The reason I'm telling you this is because the bow is the darkest spot on the ship and it is only there that you can truly see the immense starlite sky in all it's glory without all the deck lights from the ship glowing into the dark. From the bow, at night it is completely black and you can see the stars very very well. If you do get caught, so what, what are they going to do to you? throw you into the brig? I don't think so. If you want a romantic getaway spot one night, and a little adventure, try it.

The Fleet Bar on Deck 11 does have fantastic forward looking views. We did encounter the problem suggested in one of the earlier replies to your message: passengers crowding the bow while cruising through the Panama Canal. But my husband had a great solution: We ensconced ourselves at an umbrella table at the stern of the ship on 10 deck. It was relatively uncrowded, as everyone seemed to congregate at the bow. We were able to take some great photos from this vantage point, and we saw the very same sights as the passengers on the bow, but from a different angle!
