Can anyone tell me what the weather is "normally" like during Feb in the Eastern & Southern Caribbean?

My wife and I going on a cruise there and we are both kinda nervous about the weather.

My Very first cruise was the Eastern Caribbean on Sovereign in Feb. The weather was very windy and it rained alot but we had a great time and have cruised in Feb every year since. My 2nd and 3rd were the Southern Caribbean on Monarch and the 4th Western on Splendour. The weather was nearly perfect, temperatures in the mid 80's and a little breezy with very little rain. My next cruise is in Oct and I am concerned about hurricane weather. Really I don't think there is a bad time for a cruise. Just sit back, relax and count down those days until Feb!!!

I have cruised in either late January or early February 3 times and each time was wonderful. I've been to the eastern, western and southern caribbean during those times and would not take a cruise at any other time of the year. This past January I did have quite a bit of windy weather in the southern caribbean but didn't deter from doing anything (just needed to hold on to your hat!!). It wasn't unbearably hot, usually in the mid 80's (though did hit 90's during western trip). We had rain for maybe 10 minutes on two days also. It's a great time to cruise especially if you are leaving from cold weather. Enjoy!!!!

We have always cruised in April/May and November to the Carribean, but this year we went the first of Feb. I found it far less humid in Feb. As for the seas you can get rough seas anytime of the year especially during Hurrican season, so don't let that stop you. I really liked cruising in Feb. and will do it again. Our first few days were a bit rough, it rained in St. Lucia but the rest of the trip was excellent. The rain never lasts very long and then the sun comes out. Rain or shine we still have fun on the ship. We had the last day on HAL's private island Half Moon Cay and it was paradise. I have never seen a more beautiful beach (better than Megan's Bay) and such cool, clear, blue water.

We've cruised in December, January, and February, as well as in August, and definitely prefer the winter months. We did Western Carib in December - had some good seas for a few days from storms dropping off the US coast, but the weather was great. January was Eastern Carib - again, great weather. February was Panama Canal - perfect weather!! Western Carib in August is hot, hot, hot! Winter is just hot. Our next cruise will be from the UK to NYC to Miami - in August - and we have no idea what the weather will be. But can't wait for that full week at sea - no matter what the weather. I'd relax about the weather, Garry. There is usually more to worry about during hurricane season. I'm sure you'll have a great cruise.
