Unfortunately, I've not done the trip...but its in the Cunard QE2 Brouchure. I'm sure all travel agents will be able to sell you the trip.

I like the idea of flying faster than a 'bullet' and only taking 3 hours! Of course the return flight via Jumbo Jet is a lot cheaper, but not as much fun, I'm sure!

I was Second and then First Officer on QE2 and as our Transatlantic routeing often coincided with Concords, we often heard the double (very loud) sonic boom as she went over us. We also had a table of schedules so that according to the time of day and our position, we could figure out which one it was and even predict when we would hear the boom with moderate success. We have an air band raio on the Bridge and sometimes were able to talk to the pilot for a couple of minutes as she went over. If so we would broadcast the conversation to the passengers who loved it. (We once spoke to the Space Shuttle aswell but thats another story) We carry Concord pilots very often who lecture on board. One of my favourite stories they tell is how they would drive to Heathrow as the sun sets, take off and watch the sun rise again in the west (!), land in New York and then drive to the hotel whilst it sets once more...

Tom, my husband and I traveled in October, 1998 on the Air France Concorde from New York to Paris as part of a package. The Air France lounge at Kennedy Airport is only for Concorde passengers, and it is spectacular. Once the attendant takes your coat or jacket you don't see it again until you are on the ground in Paris. A wonderful continental breakfast is available with fresh fruits, cereals, cheeses, and pastries, and of course an excellent champagne is offered. The flight itself was marvelous: unlike American carriers, the cockpit is open for a visit. The flight attendants were attired in Nina Ricci uniforms and were reminiscent of the old time "stewardesses" whose ready smiles and desire to please are throwbacks to the golden age of jet travel in the late sixties. We found the food outstanding and the wine and champagnes offered excellent. After a few nights in Paris we traveled by the Eurostar train to London, three hours from Paris. The train travels at 186 m.p.h. and is the smoothest riding train on which we have ever traveled. The food is nothing to shout about, though, and the rush at embarkation when the train is called is a lemming-like push and shove fiasco.
And the Q.E. 2 was her classic self. It was my 20'th time on her. This was a dream trip--Concord, Chunnel, and Q.E. 2.
