Thank Very much!

I like Sija Line ~ SIJA EUROPA and Viking Line ~ Athena and Kalypso ( now Star Aquarius and Pisces ) are very beautiful ferry.

Beautiful Ferry-liners are SILJA EUROPA, SLJA SERENADE, SILJA SYMPHONY, PRINCESSE RAGNHILD or KRONPRINS HARALD. They even look more like cruiseships than Ferrys.
Ugly Ferries are several ships of Tirrenia, like the MANZONI for example. They´ve added 3 new decks and the ships look awful now.

I think the Turbojet Ferries, the service going from Hong Kong to Macau, is sleek. I like the moderm look to these ferries.

Yes Eric, the Silja Europa is a ferry with the looks like a luxuary liner.

I also have a softspot for Hovercraft (i.e the giant SRN4). See my 'Visit To Dover' posting in the 'Classic ships and liners' section of this site.

Patrick,
Do you have MANZONI and KRONPRINS HARALD 's photo? If have, may you post on the message board?

Here is STAR CRUISES ~ STAR PISCES (ex. VIKING LINE ~ Kalypso) after refurbish's photo. STAR PISCES's outside look is similar to Silja EUROPA.

I think Silja Europa, Víking Cinderella,Isabella,Amorella looks nice but not Silja Symphony/Serenade.

Super Fast Ferries looks also nice.

I agree with you Peter P, especially with the Cinderella and the Silja Europa.

And I also think that Silja Serenade/Symphony and Viking's Mariella are horrible. They look like a block of flats.

I prefered STAR PISCES and STAR AQUARIUS when they featured blue hulls. I don´t really like the all-white hull with all this writing on it.
Same is for SUPERSTAR ARIES. It looked much nicer when it was sailing as the EUROPA. The orange-blue stripes made the ship more elegant. Now it looks like a box with no character. The new added balconies look awful too.

Patrick,
Yes, I also think so. Star Pisces and Aquarius's big red words are too awful. It also make the ship outside look very cheap...!!!

But about SuperStar Aries, The full white is better than the orange-blue stripes. I also don't like their balcony and big red eng and thailand words..

Here is SuperStar Aries,

I find the ferry Napoleon Bonaparte of SNCM very beautiful. She travel betwen Marseille and Ajaccio. A sister-ship is now under construction to Fincantieri, Ancône for delivery in 2002.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

This is the world's biggest hovercraft, the SRN4 which opperates in Dover UK, to France.

The SRN4, which carries up to 60 cars and 418 passengers at speeds of up to 65 Knots. These craft have been operating for 30 years now!
