All of the true online sites (...including this site) use the same basic technology - so the same query run at the same time will generally give you the same rates.
Keep in mind though that rates change by the minute, and depending on your preferences (time, date, airline, etc) you can get very different results from day to day.
You can also try to consolidators or auction sites but in general you will be presented with much fewer options for a price that's not much lower.
Best advice is to plan early and monitor fares on a regular basis if you really want to get the best fare.

Sometimes the flights ARE direct AND nonstop, much to my delight. Last time I flew from hometown San Francisco to Miami, with the cruise line's air package, I imagined all sorts of terrible flight paths: via Detroit on Northwest, via Chicago on United, or via Charlotte on US Airways. Imagine my glee when the ticket came and it was nonstop, SFO to MIA, on American.
