PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP 6/6/00)--About 200 passengers aboard Disney's Magic ship became sick during a three-day cruise, Disney officials said Tuesday.
The passengers started complaining of stomach aches, vomiting and diarrhea a day after the ship set sail for the Bahamas on Friday, said Jane Adams, a Disney Cruise Vacations spokeswoman.
The ship, carrying 2,600 passengers, returned to port as scheduled Monday. It set sail on another cruise later in the day.
More than 100 guests were treated at the ship's medical center, including seven who required intravenous fluid to treat dehydration.
Disney officials said they do not know why the passengers became sick. Food samples and passengers' stool samples were collected and will be analyzed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
Disney is handling requests for refunds on a case-by-case basis, Adams said

Maybe it was too much Mickey, but yet again Mickey is the captain.... I think every one got sick from the food, maybe the meat went bad ?

I bet they were GRUMPY. What symptoms did the DOC find out? Were they SLEEPY or SNEEZY or did they just feel DOPEY? I'd be HAPPY to go on but I'm feeling rather BASHFUL ... (That's enough dwarves. Ed.)
