Sailed on the Ocean Princess from Seward to Vancouver on 6/3. This was my 11th Princess cruise and I have sailed on the Sun Princess, Sea Princess and Dawn Princess. The Ocean Princess is the same layout, different from that of the Regal and the Grand. She is an elegant ship with an attentive staff.

Some friends of mine did a late-June Alaska cruise on the Ocean Princess, their first-ever cruise, and they were highly impressed and didn't have one complaint (save having to get up so early the morning of disembarkation). So all of you sailing the Ocean Princess have a wonderful time!

Am really glad to hear that. We are sailing on her on the 29th October (for our 39th Anniversary) with our son and daughter in law. They are thrilled as I managed to upgrade them from an inside to a balcony cabin for $120.00 Cdn each. Just shows its always worth keeping your eye on the prices.

Regarding balcony size: friends of mine sailed on her just a short while ago to Alaska, and although they took an inside, they said that most of the balconies were fairly small, enough room for a chair or two and that was about it.

This all sounds great to me. I'm booking a group (myself included of course) for next July 16th on the Ocean Princess to Alaska, so I'll be paying close attention to any postings on her.
