I got no response from this topic on the Cruise Lines component, so I shall try here.

Seek inputs and evaluations of Crown Dynasty, which is now sailing from nearby Baltimore. We are considering a Quebec cruise on this line, and, just having completed a Rembrandt cruise from Baltimore, we are taken by the no-air; no NYC hassle from this Port.

I am also looking for information about the Crown Dynasty. We went on our first cruise out of Baltimore on the Rembrandt 7/22-7/29 and we happy to find out more cruises were planned out of the port including some in November & December by Holland America. We're looking for a spring or early summer vacation though. Hope to get some feedback.

I just looked at HAL's Sept 2000-Dec 2001 Caribbean brochure and the only HAL ship going out of Baltimore is the Rotterdam V1 on the Christmas/New Years cruise. Embarkation is in Baltimore but disembarkation is in Ft. Lauderdale. HAL wouldn't sail out of a northern port in November and December - too cold. People want to get into warm weather as soon as possible.

Just another note -- many of us don't like to fly (or in my case, have a spouse that completely refuses), so I'll take an embarkation OR a debarkation in Baltimore anytime!

No one has given me a rundown on the Crown Dynasty yet!!

I found a very pejorative review in the reviews section. But it was just one, it was some time ago, and it was in the Carib.
