MALCOM, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT SHIP IS?

AT SOME POINT, IT LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE NO LIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE, LIKE IT WAS BROKEN IN HALF.

The ship going to the left appears to be a Royal Caribbean ship...can't make the one going to the right.

I wonder if that video was perhaps shot during an Alaskan cruise. Sometimes the inland passage gets rather crowded. When we did it, one night, two other ships were following us, and two others passed us in the opposite direction.

That's what some my cruises have been like.
Ships passing in the night!
I know I had a good time, just can't remember it.

It reminds me of one of our very fond memories fomr our cruise in the Caribbean. Leaving St. Thomas and heading for the lin's private island in the Bahama's, two other ships were doing the same thing. We could see their lights sailing along generally the same direction for hours. It was so cool!

Reminds me of the screen saver over on the Princess site. Their whole fleet sails across the screen in silhouette one by one under the full moon....peter

The video could have been shot in Alaska or outside Florida. In my opinion the ship going to the right is an Holland America Statendam class ship; the one going to the left could be the Enchantment, the Grandeur, the Rhapsosody or the Vision of the Seas, since the Viking Crown Lounge is not located on the funnel, and the funnel is well aft.

Actually sitting here and staring at the lights for like a minute all of a sudden reminded me of when I was on the Millennium last month, when we were sailing away from Rostock. There was a carnival going on right beside us, as we were sailing off there were lights everywhere and people yelling at us.
