Thought I would put in a subject for Halloween! I recently read of a Murder Mystery cruise going out of South Hampton on the Queen Elizebeth II. Would any of you go on a mysterious cruise?
I don't know? It does sound intriguing!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

It sounds like fun!

Personally, I'm not particularly interested in Murder/Mystery, but my wife is. Many a time she has wanted to murder me!

Sounds like fun. They had a murder/mystery evening on one of our HAL cruises, unfortunately, we were at dinner when they scheduled it, but everyone who participated said they had a great time.

I was working on the QE2 when they had a murder mystery crossing and it was interesting. Cunard hired a few actors from New York to come aboard and act as passengers, and then create this murder mystery throughout the cruise. It was intersting.

I have thought it would be fun to have a Survivor cruise, based on the "Survivor" hit show this last year, where passengers would compete throughout the cruise by searching for clues at the different ports that the ship goes to. The clues would all lead to a final treasure of $1,000,000 million dollars!! or the equivalent in whatever country you live in...I don't know how may pounds that would be for you Malcolm.

Barryboat, that is only £6,666666 pounds (very approximately).

I would not even attempt to solve a murder for anything less than 1 million I do have standards!

Malcolm. You are saying that 1,000,000 american dollars is equal to 6,666,666 british pounds. I didn't know that the pound was only worth 15 cents american. Got some to sell, I'll give you 20 cents american for each British pound.
Anybody else like some.

I remember one on either the Sagafjord or
the Vistafjord. It was fun.....as I remember
it was loosely based on one of Agatha Christie's novels. I would go in a minute.

Hi Malcolm.....

I have been reading these posts and I will hazard a guess at $1,000,000.US being worth approximately 600,000 British Pounds.

I am only guessing because I do not know what the exchange rate is between Britain and US.

With the exchange rate between Britain and Canada being approximately $2.25 for 1 British Pound,I would figure $1,000,000.CDN would be worth over 444,000 British Pounds!!

Terri - Malcolm was very close. I was at the bank today and they figured out that
1 Million US$'s was equal to 682,366 BPS.

Thanks, Joe - didn't even know it was there. Oh, what a simple way to convert, except when I saw what the Cdn $ is worth in US funds! Makes me sick. No wonder we have to pay so much for our cruises.

Because I can't handle difficult numbers I tend to use $1.5 = £1

I remember a time when it was $2.5 = £1. Thise were the days

Hi Everyone:

A murder mystery cruise would be fantastic. Actually, I am going on the "Imagination" in January and have already been warned by my girlfriend that if I don't behave myself while we are on board, she'll take care of me. HMMMMM!
I have a question for the "first class passengers" and "cruise directors". I know I have a long way to go, but how many posts do I need to graduate from "Just Boarded"?
Take care everyone
Saint

I would go on a mystery cruise. I've even worked a little on a script for one!

I remember that at one time, the British pound was $5. That's the number you should use for anything before WW II.
