I heard a lot of talk about Superstar Leo, but until now have had no idea what her interiors looked like.

Costa Romantica [award winner] and Black Watch too!

Disney Magic/Wonder has Transatlantic Art Deco revival with the Disney signature.

Malcolm, If you get to the city of Rotterdam,
the Maritime museum has quite a few interesting ships from 1850's with beautiful interiors.

San Diego has one with a clipper ship, and a Misisissippi riverboat steamer.

WOW! What a ship! I am sorry, but if it came down to choosing the Leo (Norwegian Whatever)
and the equally beautiful Deutschland, I know what my answer would be. (a) I can only say "Ich heisse Else Kramer" and a few other German words (b) I haven't won the lottery yet and (c) there is simply a lot more things to do than savour the beautiful decor.

You're right... stunning. It would be nice to go on there but remain on board while most of the passengers go off on a shore-ex, to see it without distraction. I think it's great when the designers so clearly take a pride in what they are achieving -- but I bet the firm's bean-counters weren't so pleased!

a nice-looking ship! The dining areas are very elegant. I think that the Deutschland is a bit prettier though. She has more "classic" elegance.

Wow, I have never seen much about this ship, but they certainly did an outstanding job! I'd cruise on that ship in a heartbeat!

I had seen the interiors a while ago. I think Eric had posted a link to Star Cruise Lines. I flipped when I saw the interior shots. A completely magnificent vessel indeed.

Built at Mayer Werft, it shows a lot of similarities with Aurora, I wouldnt mind sailing on this ship, fingers crossed now for a lottery win on Saturday.

GORGEOUS! Now if she were going to Europe, I would sail her in a heartbeat. But I have done Asia and Hawaii (yecch). But if I ever went, you can be sure I'd stay onboard the LEO without ever setting foot in port. Her insides are "creamy".
