We're doing the inaugural cruise of the Norwegian Sun leaving Southampton on 10 September. We've never cruised with NCL or done a transatlantic - hope we won't be dissappointed?

August 26:Costa Riviera from Civitavecchia to the Western Mediterranea calling at Savona,Cannes,Barcelona,Palma,Tunis and Palermo.I have already cruised on this ship in 1995 when it was just returned from the USA after the unsuccessfull American Adventure's days. The Riviera is too colorfull for italian tastes but offers excellent value for cruising.
November 2001:A Transatlantic Crossing to South America with Costa Cruises(sailing date and ship are yet to be announced)or a Panama Channel cruise if Costa will decide to perform this itinerary(Now they have 8 ships and it could be possible.Celebrity has done this cruises from many years with fewer vessels).

I'm booked on the DELTA QUEEN in September and the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN this October to enjoy what I hope will be the spectacular autumn foliage of the Ohio River Valley. I've had these reservations for almost a year. I believe that unless I can sneak away for a last minute deal aboard one of DQSB boats, the September trip will be my 87th. trip aboard their three steamboats!

Next February I hope to make a Panama Canal trip on HAL, but they're dragging their heels about getting out the 2002 Panama Canal brochure . I did call HAL's main office and was told that the ROTTERDAM will be making the 10 night Ft.L. to Costa Rica cruises at that time, and they are not booking these trips yet.

Susan will be cruisin' soon on the Costa Atlantica March 18th, the ship people either love or hate, not much middle ground on the reviews! For you going on the Sept. 7th Amsterdam cruise, I am doing that with a friend on October 7th! I hope October this year is as nice as last year or we could be rather cold! All of you going on the Norway's last hurrah, I am so envious! I would be if I could get that many days off, I love that ship. I took the 96 trip to France, her first visit back to France since she left there to become the Norway. What a trip that was and when we left that night the fireworks were awesome. I'll never forget it. She is very much a classic, only ship I would ever repeat on. Enjoy your cruises everyone!
