There were recently some very bad and in my opinion unfairly biased reports about conditions on the MV Bolero.

I was concerned that others booked for later cruises might be apprehensive and have their trip ruined before it started by these adverse reports.

I published my view in this forum, hopefully providing a more balanced and informed report on conditions aboard.

As a result of this I received many E mails on the subject from Canadians who were booked in March and April on Bolero.

I replied to all, addressing specific questions as best I could.

Since then, I have contacted all and asked if everything went OK. No replies.

All either contribute to or read Cruise Talk.

Thanks guys, dont bother to ask again.

Yes Topgun, it is sad when folks use this forum to gain information or voice their concerns, never to return and provide any feedback.

However, this virtual community is just like a real community, some folks give and some folks take!

Hi Topgun, I agree with you completely. I have also had e-mails from people who were travelling on the Bolero, I even e-mailed them on their return to ask if they would post a reply on the board. No luck so far. I think since these cruisers asked many of these questions and had answers posted on the board then they should be good enough to share their views on the board as to if they enjoyed the cruise or did not. Come on folks speak up and put us all out of our misery.

I'll join the Topgun supporters club on this one! Just how selfish can some people be.

Topgun, I suppose you can console yourself that your view that [Quote]"There were recently some very bad and in my opinion unfairly biased reports about conditions on the MV Bolero.", was correct as methinks that we would have soon heard from the moaners if they didn't have a good cruise!

Just wanted to let everyone know that JOJO who was looking for opinions on the MS Bolero cruise did not go on this cruise. There were so many complaints about this ship that my family and I decided not to go. I have not posted anything about my cruise because I was not on it!!!

Hello Topgun. I emailed you within a week after returning from my holiday. Did you not receive my email. I apologize if you did not receive it and will send it to you again if you like. I haven't had a chance to do a reader review yet - still typing it!! I have been extremely busy this time of year (tax time) and I have not been able to spend as much time online as I usually do. Hoping you get UNTICKED!!!!

A brief note to that effect might have been in order, e.g. Thanks but I've booked another cruise -

or words to that effect.
