Hello to all shiplovers

Since years I am looking for pictures of the sinking Achille Lauro.I've seen pictures of the burning ship. I would like to see photos
showing her during the last few hours, similar to the picture of Britanis a few month ago.Can somone help me? Achille Lauro
was one of my favourate ship since 1978.

i have shot of achille lauro on fire but i have no idea on how to get the photo from my scanner onto this site. i believe the us navy helped evacuate the achille lauro when she was burning so i suppose somebody in the navy should have some photos not to mention any passengers who were on board

Werner, you should go on www.yahoo.com and start a search using "achille lauro fire"; you will be able to find some pictures. I remember also a video shot on the ship during the evacuation, but I have no idea how to find it.

Great funnels -- always liked the ACHILLE LAURO's stacks, like the BIG U and LIBERTE, her stacks set her apart, you could not mistake her for any other ship.
