I wanted to cruise with AZUR in September, but unfortunately my boss at work will not give me free that week Now I am thinking about another cruise or a "normal" holiday in August (7 days free only).

Who can say me, when the regular cruise ships will be at Palma de Majorca? (Day/time)

Sunbird? Sundream? Carousel? ... Airtours
Emerald? Topaz? ... Thomson
Oceanic? ... Pulmantur
Bolero? ... not known
Ausonia? ex-Viking Serenade? ... First Choice

I don´t have the brochures and I haven´t enough time to get them, but would like to see these ships, if possible.

I need the information for 25.08-02.09.01

Where can I find the routes of the mentioned ships in the web?

I hope, somebody can help me please!

Take an other week. for the "Azur" there are often special prices in late year and in February.

Try www.aw-kreuzfahrten.de.

Or call me: 07833/95848.

I totally agree with Amerikanis!
First Choice,Sun Cruises and Thomnson Cruises are good companies but they are mainly marketed in the british and in the canadian cruise markets, offering a specifically targeted cruise product, so I think that they don't cater well the passengers of other nationalities( For example in Italy these cruises aren't marketed).
The Oceanic and the Bolero are instead specifically dicated to the spanish cruise market ( I doubt that they even have international sale agents or rappresentatives in the other Countries).
So I suggest you to considerate only Festival,Costa or MSC Cruises, because all these companies offer a dicated cruise product, operating in several languages all the onboard activities and the excursions (for example the latter one offers a 7 days long itinerary in the Western Mediterranean on the Melody at excellent rates. Check: www.msccruises.com ).
If you prefer to explore the Eastern Mediterranean Royal Olypmpic Cruises is the best choice: this greek company offers a great chices of 3,4,7 days long cruises departing from Piraeus,Heraklion and Civitavecchia ( the sorter itineraries can be combined with some days in Athens or in a greek isle).Check. www.royalolympiccruises.com

Hi Karsten, have a look at the Sunquest site
http://www.sunquest.ca/destinations

This is the Canadian site for Airtours cruises and you can download the entire brochure, showing photographs, deckplans, itineraries etc. The Sunbird and Carousel usually embark from Palma de Majorca on Saturdays. There is often a mix of nationalities, including Canadians, Scandinavians and some Germans as well as us Brits of course.

Airtours' Sunbird and Carousel are always in Palma on Saturdays from about 0700 until 2200. You can walk right up to the quayside and see them, but I doubt they'll let you on board.

Crews and entertainers from both ships often meet in a little bar/coffee shop on the quay between the ships, so that's a good place to get to know people and ask their opinions.
