Just booked a back to back cruise around S. America from Buenos Aires to Valpairaiso to Miami-via Panama Canal. We are on the Norwegian Dream & would like to hear what people thinks of this ship, we have been on 9 cruises but this is the first time on this line. What is the food like, how about the service? How do you like the free-style? Also if anyone has any info on the cruise itself. Thanks a bunch!!!

Thanks Malcolm, I did look up Reader Reviews but they were so old they didn't even have freestyle dining then, also none of the cruises was to SA.

See my post "Freestyle" on this thread - June 28'02 - a few comments there may be helpful.

We've never tried it and doubt that we will - bit like eating out at home unless you're with a group - we enjoy sharing dinner conversation with 4 or 6 others - seems to me it's what cruising is all about.

Happy cruisin'

Has anyone any recent news on Norwegian Dream.

She is no longer showing on the AIS maps as being anchored in the Piraeus Roads.

Always a chance that if nobody wishes to buy her she could be heading for Alang !
