I'm sorry to have omitted mentioning that we were favoured with slight to moderate seas until our final day returning to Sydney when we had Force 6 winds and 4 metre seas. The stabiliser assisted ship handled these conditions extremely well and nobody appeared uncomfortable. Also complimentary tea, coffee and iced water are available at all times on the rear deck on Deck 9, outside the Panorama Buffet, as well as 24 hour room service.

Wonderful Bmajor, thanks. Seems they've made a good job of her. Renting a private spa sounds nice, but is it really only $15 per day? Doesn't seem much.

Pam,
Perhaps it would have been clearer had I said the private Spa Pool area in the open deck forward of the fitness centre,Hair Salon and Health and Beauty area's on Deck 9 overlooking the bow,and
immediately under the bridge,and commanding excellent unobstructured forward views.There are sun loungers,ample deck space and a huge jacuzzi,raised to maximise the views.
If you are using the 'Spa' Services ,this private area is available for your use, but any passenger may pay $15Au. and use the sun loungers and jacuzzi all day.
They are really renting out the sun loungers,and offering use of the pool.There did not seem to be much demand for this extra as there are ample loungers around the pool and up on the sun deck.

Great review Bmajor! Sounds like you had a fantastic cruise. May have to look at PP when she returns in November next year - or do you fancy the Papeete to Sydney/Auckland relocation cruise?

Yes.. we are looking at more P/P Cruises,
but for "Down Under" folk ..
will have to book on Cruises that are in Ozzie Dollars.
Would love to do Tahitian princess as well..
but......
if that is in US dollars a glass of wine priced at $US 5.00
cost's you $AU 10.00
and us $NZ 12.50

We Canucks are in the same bind - everything is priced in U$ or, even worse, in UK£ - either way, we're behind the 8 ball - and then there's air on top of that!
