Joe, I think it just depends why you are on board.These people did have a very good time on board, in spite of the fact that some collumns blocked their view a little.
This certainly is NOT a case of 'rose colored glasses', I begin to believe that the previous review, written by someone else, was very 'black-glassed' or whatever that is called in English.

I do think, however, that they have made a lot of changes for the better and people seem to be enjoying themselves. Most of the bad reports came back from those who sailed on the ship for the first few months.
There are also the nit-pickers, and no matter what, they will find something to complain about.

This is not to say we shall abandon cruising on Rotterdam, Zaandam, Maasdam or the other "dam" ships. We are currently booked to return to Maasdam in November and Rotterdam in March. But, we shall probably rotate a bit. Sometimes an "S" sister or such; sometimes a Vista.
