yesterday i got a bit wet but braved the elements and got some photos of the Oceana passing the QE2 in Southampton...

Thank you Luke for the fabulous pictures of the last three days,I think your shots of the Caronia are the best I have seen.Living so far away from Southampton,your pictures from the old pier give an amazing sense of being there..I look forward to a great summer of liners going up the solent.

Is that the cinema of QE2!?! its so small!!! like a storeroom!

That's the kiddies cinema on that deck plan.

QE2's theatre is a two-level one on the Upper and Boat Decks and sits 529 people.

indeed she does - straight after she'd dropped off passengers that morning she was moved to the King George V dry dock for work - im not sure of exactly what this entailed... perhaps they were sending a sweep up there?! lol.
