If I'm right that would mean that the QM2 will not be serviced until late 06 or early 07? Mind you I could be wrong, I often am?
Such maintenence would be scheduled. She would only cancel a cruise if she needed urgent attention.

I just re-examined QM2's schedule and it looks like you are right. There is a 13-day gap in November 2005. QM2 arrives in Southampton from New York on November 7 and does not sail again until November 20.
Malcolm: QE2 used to have refits every year, usually in November or December. 5-day crossings are a lot harder on a ship than Caribbean cruising. 6-day crossings are too, but probably to a lesser extent. QM2 will need work to be done by late 2005 or early 2006.
