ROYAL VIKING SKY was schedued to sail between Hong Kong and Kobe in the autumn of 1991, though the China / Japan cruises were cancelled.

In the summer of 1991, SUNWARD II(ex-CUNARD ADVENTURER) did sail 3 & 4-day cruises out of Miami, however she was sailed as Triton in the spring of 1992.

Could you add the dates and Years?

When I worked on ssSky Princess in 1998, I heard a story that Golden Princess, former RVSky has a serious fire.
Perhpas this is why she was sold to Star cruises.
She is seen as Grand Latino in the topic about Holiday Dream, click on the gallery!

Are you talking the incident below?

July 6, 1996 - The Golden Princess was towed 60 miles from the northwest coast of British Columbia to Victoria after fire broke out in the engine room during a cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver. About 1,200 passengers and crew were aboard the Princess Cruise Lines' vessel. None were injured.

From Princess' 1995-1996-1997 Cruise Calendar effective October 1995, Golden Princess was scheduled her last sailing on December 6 1996 and Dawn Princess to enter service on Apr 12 1997.

From NCL's July 1991 - December 1992 brochuer, Sunward II(ex-CUNARD ADVENTURER) planned 3 & 4-days cruises out of Miami until Decemer 1992, I believed that Sunward(ex-Royal Viking Sky) had a facelift and took over these cruises in 1991.
I was wondering when Sunward made NCL's first Voyage?

From RVL's brochuer

I assured that R.V.Sky had cancelled 21-day Trans Pacific cruise from San Francisco on Aug 18 1991 for Hong Kong and all cruises until end of 1991, RVL revised Itineraries until midlle of September 1991, thereafter she had received a refit by the end of October 1991 for some alterlations in Public rooms; These were Observatory Lounge, Venus Lounge and Aft prommenade bar.
R.V.Sky's dining room had Tables for about 725 passengers at one sitting though Aft section of dining room became Sunward's Randevous Lounge, Photo Gallery, Kids corner and Video arcade.
