Do you perhaps have a similar printer that will print messages atop a festive cake, like "Happy Birthday" and such?

Hi Robert,
It all depend on which printer you have.
HP inkjets are not so suitable because your paper does a U turn while printing and cardboard is too thick too make the bend. For years now I have been printing with Epson printers, the paper slides trough the printer without making that U turn. Some of the Epson printers also have an extra feature that the entire print heads can be lifted slightly for thick paper and cardboard to go underneath it. I often push my printer to the limit an one time I printed on 1 mm thick cardboard, it went trough but I literally had to push it! For my sister wedding I printed the invitations on nice cardboard that had some sort of silvery things “woven” trough it.
Most brands have their own line of papers, cardboard, transfers, sheets etc. I often use Ivory cardboard to printout the hull framings of my own models.
If you have some specific question just send me an e-mail.
