As expected QM2 will not use The Overseas Passenger Terminal at Princes Wharf. It was just announced today that she will berth at the Jellicoe Wharf Container Terminal. This will allow her excellent access, and will keep her a long way from the public.

Both!!!!!!!!!!
Good for security, and good for the amount of space she will have around her for the replenishment of supplies.Good for handling passengers as I imagine they will erect elaborate marquees to handle all the passengers and their luggage .Plenty of space for coaches also.
Bad for the general public,as there is no way they will even get past the wharf gates to get any where near her, and the adjoining wharves are all part of the same container complex, so they will be off limits as well.Tour boats and ferries will do a thriving trade that day !!!!!!!!!!!!!
(ps 6 hours to go ,then off to Bangkok to join Pacific Princess on Aug11.)
