I've just had an email from Ideal Cruising advertising an 'exclusive QM2 Late offer': a two-way crossing on QM2, plus 5 nights in new York, from £899pp. That's 17 nights altogether. This seems like a pretty good deal. Trouble is, it's for the crossing starting 27 June (ie, next Monday) so it's definitely not for us.

It's not available on their website, they say - you have to have the email & call them....

I received the same offer from Cruiselines but, unfortunately, I have not additional holidays.

Pretty good?

No, it's the deal of the decade on the most wondeful ship - if it really is both ways. I assume Hotel accommodation in NY is not included, but still that’s only £75 per sea night. WHAT A DEAL – it should cost £2048.

I bet the price is based on four people sharing an outside lifeboat!

Actually I think it is - 3* only. There are all sorts of upgrade options, both for cabins on QM2 (separately, in each direction) and for the New York stay.

Wow! Even 3* NY Hotels tend to cost £80-£100 per room, per night, minimum. The cheapest cabins onboard the QM2 are not bad at all.

This deal gets better and better, if any places really exist at that price! If I'd not been, I'd go sick from work and pay for it with my CC.
