"Photo By Andrew" plastered across the image kind of ruins the picture a bit....I can understand if it were an outstanding photo, but this one is average. QM2 in an industrial setting doesn't make for a commercially appealing photo, so the copyright is not really that necessary.

Agreed, but It's so annoying if people use your images without pemission.

However in this case the 'Copyright' actually ruins the images.

It is just my friend's decision.
( I only act as a third party to help him posting the photo)

The photo's quality is affected by today's poor weather condition in HK. And the photo was taken in the very early morning.

No. This is only QM2's second trip into the Pacific. On her first, in 2006, she only visited the West coasts of North and South America and Hawaii.

This is QM2's first world cruise, but she will not make another for a while. She will spend the entire winter of 2007-2008 cruising to the Caribbean out of New York.

TOTALLY agree. Not a very good pic. Not worth copyriting. Maybe if they got a pic with the Hong Kong skyline?

Oh, Hong Kong, it brings back so many memories. We saw the first Oriana there when I was on the USS Lockwood.

What a grim and gloomy day when she arrived. Talk about smog! or is that the natural phenomenon whith out the smoke?

Thought I would take the opportunity to intorduce my QM2 photo's in Sydney. I knew it was going to be big - but when I saw it for real I actually got a shock as to how big it really was.

I noticed a few comments about copyright of photo's - all my original digitals are 2560 x 1920 pixels, scaling them back to 640 x 480 makes it pretty hard for people to even bother using them for their own advantage - besides you still keep copies of your entire photos you take witht the camera so you can easily prove who took the photos.

Here is my album: http://www.travelserver.net/travelpage/aspgallery/view_ad.asp?Ad_ID=2768

Sutho

Your photos are superb as are those of AURORA in another thread. I recall also an earlier set of shots depicting DIAMOND PRINCESS. Malcolm should appoint you as Cruise Talk's official photograher in Sydney, with suitable remuneration of course!

Nice pics Sutho. I doubt anyone here on CT would want to abuse your photos, we've got ethics, haven't we? Just in case though, if anyone uses them for commercial purposes...sue them. They can't plead ignorance.

Cheers
