See here. Rumour is that Stelios is looking for a 2nd larger vessel more in line with easyCruise Life.

Nice little ship. Pity Stelios carved her up inside. How much do you think he wants (or I should say how much is she worth)?

Just wonder if the tender is included.

Stelios, through Paris broker, is asking for €14 Millions. Also said to be looking for another vessel same size/age/ferry type (?) as the one presently rebuild in Greece for his easyCruiseLIFE! another "revolution" in progress? Meanwhile humhum his announcement abt. newbuilding plans.

The profit margins must be quite low given the very low easycruise fares, so a ship more cabins makes sense.

I bet Stelios can fit at least 25% more cabins on board than a standard cruise ship!

If Stelios is looking for a vessel similar to "easyCruiseLife", he should take a look at her sister ship "Ugo Foscolo" that - as far as I know - is still under arrest in Greece.

There's THE IRIS, of course, another sister of EASYCRUISE LIFE. Mano Cruises have just released their 2008 schedule which includes her, but in the cruise industry, who knows....!

Hi there,

The IRIS won't leave the Mano-fleet in the near future. She is very popular and Mano will keep her for the next years.
Stelios knows about UGO FOSCOLO but the vessel would need a lot of supplementary works "behind the walls" as she only got a cosmetic upgrade during her last drydock. It would need a much higher investment to make her cruise-ready than it needs for her older sister EASYCRUISE LIFE which got much more attention during the last years.

Another alternative would be OCEAN JEWEL OF ST. PETERSBURG which could be more easily adapted to the needs of Easy Cruise. But I am speculating with ROYALE STAR, another sister of EASYCRUISE LIFE which currently sails as a gambeling-ship in Asia and is placed for sale. Only the price they ask is far too high.

Works on the LIFE are going on well so all looks fine that she'll be ready on time.
