A friend has sent me some images of OCEANIC undergoing a month-long drydock in Malta and for the last week she has been wearing new funnel colours and logo. I'll try and attach an image to this post, but have never succeeded before!!

The new logo is also being shown at http://www.pullmantur.es/ while http://www.pullmanturcruises.com/ still has the old one.

Reminds me of Fred Olsen. Why not come up with a unique livery? Red is not a good sea color.

Now all they need is a naming policy that makes sense both internally and for the ships themselves. Mind that would make it more expensive.

it does remind me to the altered Hurtigruten logo, same colours and almost same logo

i really wonder why they haven choses this sign

I've always thought it was a matter of time before Pullmantur changed its livery, which I always felt was rather amateurish-looking (the logo reminds me of a cheap package-delivery company).

However, I must say that this looks pretty silly as well! But I rather like the red.

In my opinion, the older colour schema was more "beautiful", but ... "beautiful" is not the right word for both

OCEANIC is back in Barcelona, ready to resume cruising. I guess I can easily get used to her new livery; the ship has such beautiful lines that they overcome any color changes to her funnel. See here.

Indeed gorgeous, but that red funnel and logo is going to take me some time to get used to. It doesn't look bad, just I am so used to and love the blue with the old logo.

It´s a subtle attack on Quail, which claims to be Spanish only. Pullmantur gets the Ñ which is true Spanish spelling, not included in the computers first (when they were imported), so, it was a huge campaign, because the computer makers wanted us to drop the Ñ. National campaign and "we love our Ñ, and bla, bla bla", nationa pride.

Ñ comes from ESPAÑOLA (spanish), and tends to play with the concept and also it´s a kind of funnel and smoke coming out.
