Beautiful photos! I'm sailing on QUEEN VICTORIA on June 10th to Norway for 12 days. I've never been to Norway (or on the QV) so I can't wait.

Thanks again!

Can't wait to see this year's selection!

To see the ships in such wonderful and dramatic scenery must be the best!

I'll always remember sailing in Hardangerfjord onboard Canberra in 1992 under azure blue skies followed by the trek up to North Cape.

We didn't visit Geraingerfjord due to Canberra's draft.

Beautiful pic of my favourite Royal Viking sister. Rowan saw her in Plymouth on the 2nd but didn't even know. She sent me a photo by phone but it's so small you can't make anything out. Such a shame you won't see any Phoenix ships next year. Maybe they'll all go in 2010.

Great new pics! A month from today I will be on my way to London and then QV up to Norway.

The scenery is just stunning. I have my fingers crossed for good weather. Any idea in mid-June how late it will stay light? My particular cruise will travel as far North as Honningsvag in the Arctic Circle.

That far north at that time of year, you will well and truly be in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Make sure the curtains are drawn if you want some sleep. While you sail north to Honnigsvaeg, and then on the journey south again, you will probably have at least four days (and nights) of uninterrupted daylight.

This is North Cape at midnight in June 2005, seen from the Arcadia.

So close to the summer solstice and that far north of the Arctic Circle you might not see the sun set. Today, for example, there was nearly 22.5 hours of daylight in Honningsvåg.

The Norwegian Fjords was one of my favorite trips. It's truly sublime, and better than an Inside Passage cruise in my opinion.

A bit peculiar, however, eating dessert at late seating dinner with sun streaming through the windows.

Great pictures Galaxy, thanks for sharing. The ALBATROS looks great and I love her classic lines. Also, the GRAND VICTORIA by no means is attractive looking, but good to know she is still sailing.
