I found these photos in the website. I guess RCI just didnt want to post them. I saved the best for last. I find that skybridge fascinating with it being two levels. I guess it makes sense. Bottom for the Lido deck and the top for sky or sun deck.(Mods:Let me know if they need to be scaled down)
Enjoy!!!

Don't you just love how these images suggest that on a lovely sunny day some impossibly good looking people can move around the open areas of the ship with hardly anyone around them?

In reality the ship will be packed with large Americans in check shorts or ill-fitting dresses and I venture to suggest the noise in the Central Park may be anything but soothing.

If only the marketing images were true

I have to agree with Carnival Guy, it is beautiful, but the ship experience is completely lost. The Princess Grand/Crown class is about as big as I want to go and I hope that some 50-70 thousand ton ships are still around in the future.

It's beautiful and innovative, but it's not for me.

OASIS OF THE SEAS will not be for everyone, and certainly not for most ship traditionalists. I for one will absolutely be booking her and no doubt will enjoy the ship and cruise a great deal. Part of my enjoyment of a cruise is the actual design, technology, and innovation of the ship itself. In this regard OASIS will be at the forefront and I'm certain I will find it all facinating. Personally I'm flexible enough I can enjoy something like OASIS OF THE SEAS just as easily as a Silversea cruise. Ernie

I've been saying this a lot since I got off the Liberty of the Seas.....too big and removed from the sea...however, I still want to see it and experience it for myself.

I'm sure every agrees that they want to see what inovations new ships have. Then they can decide if they want to return to that class vessel.
Different strokes for different folks. Some like the old ships.new, big or small. At least you have a choice.
For me newer,midsize works!

I can't wait. Again if this were any other cruise line like Carnival, they would just fill the interior with more cabins and passengers. Same old, same old more like a stretched Conquest class ship is all they continue to build. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still plenty of areas to feel the connection to the sea. This will be a great place in the evening for dining.

They would just fill the interior with more cabins and passengers? Same old, same old more like a stretched (fill in the blank)-class ship...

The same could be said about Holland-America and Celebrity and Princess and NCL and even most of all previous RCCL ships. All of the cruise lines have generated (yes I have to say it) CLONES: stretched, modified, enlarged, enhanced, altered, and added on to a previous design, CLONES. Even SOLSTICE cannot be compared to this floating mega-box boat.

This ship is unigue in cruising history. It will be the first of its kind, and any attempt in comparison to any other cruise ship design is an exercise in futility and ignorance. All cruise ships and liners built to date cannot compare and we dont even know the half of what this ship is going to offer.

Hmmmm it look impressive but still i don't no how it turned out in real time. But i get the spooky feeling that it will be crowdy...... Just have to wait fore the real thing. The other impressions looks much the same typical RCCL interiors.

Greetings Ben.

No nerve. Just get bored and tired (most of us have ) of the haters always bashing Carnival. We get it, got it months ago. Last year. You dont like Carnival, the ships, the decor, the whatever. We could write a book using the hateful and lowly adjectives used to describe their interiors. I dont especially look to them as my first choice either, agree their interior decor is a bit over the top, but I dont bash them in every thread. Opinions are indeed of a personal nature, but to see that 'dead horse' bashing from Carnival-haters being kicked every time, over and over again, gets old. Real old. Really really old.

We have agreed we cant do anything about ship design, nothing, and with the last of the forseeable newbuilds scheduled for around 2012 I'd say we are stuck with what we have, like'm or not. There are very very few ships that have come out in the last decade that are particualty beautiful or even attractive. We adjust our tastes because we get used to them. And its not so much the exteriors that even matter anymore. Entertainment, food, and available deck space matter, and for that matter, Carnival has gotten better reviews recently from CT members than Royal Caribbean and Princess.

And as for design, these two new RCCL monoliths are as boxy as they come. Not very attractive. Look like a Whatever-of-the-Seas on steroids. It is what is on the interior that counts. Cruise Talk members have expressed low expectations of newbuilds based on computer imagery of interiors and exterior photography, only to come back from them with amazing reviews, or at the least, changed opinions. Pride of America, Queen Victoria, even recent shots of the interiors of the Eurodam have swayed opinions that were first laid when the keel was.

Carnival has a loyal following, and sure to some they may be cranking out "unimaginative and boring" clone after clone, but without their financial backing (and clones), many of the cruise lines we all enjoy today would be stagnant at best, or non-existant.

New construction image of Genesis, I mean, Oasis found on Shipspotting. Here we can see the size of Genesis in another perspective. Note that the doors for balconies are sliding doors, or seem to be if my eyes are not playing a trick on me. Here's the image.

I really agree. Carnivals interiors are a bit over the top but if people keep bashing Carnival Over and over again it becomes the same old hatred in every post.

I think maybe they are hinged doors with glass panels either side? I cant remember the last balcony I had with a sliding glass door, I think maybe the Sun Princess and Dawn Princess in Alaska.

I wonder why more cruise lines dont build balconies with sliding glass doors?

And some people get their panties in a wad over an opinion. If a person does not like something that does not define it as bashing. If you don't like my opinion then don't read my comments. It's that simple. I say what I have to say and really don't care if you like it or not.

They look like sliders. If you look at the sixth deck of balconies in the middle of the photo, it looks like one cabins has the door slightly open. Looks like a slider to me. Since Royal has placed sliders on all the Voyager, Radiance and Freedom I hope that they do not change. I do not like the hinge doors.

That really is the first pic that you can see just how big she is and looking at it still to get bigger, it looks at present like any other building going up.
