Found a few pics of her on Flickr. I think she is actually pretty nice looking, though her stern is a little abrupt.

She reminds me of the Grand Princess-class ships after a good facelift. This is what Princess should have designed 10 years ago. Nicely done, MSC.

So many newbuilds have this same indented balcony design with the amidship block sticking back out. I guess I never quite understood why. Can someone pls explain it to me?

By making the balcony deck narrow, they can build the ship higher (its about weight and stability). That's why most newer ships have narrow superstructures with balconies. The midship block that sticks out is to make space for the midship stairwell/atrium/lifts.
