Nice pictures. I never noticed that they used the same bridge and front cabin design for Solstice and Oasis. I can't wait to see her when I sail on Oasis.

Great pictures. In the head-on shot, she looks fat and top heavy. Also, it seems the "X" on the balcony is more visible from further away.

Why did they abandon the traditional Celebrity hull paint job?

In my opinion, Celebrity Solstice will be spectacular!

Wow... great pics of the lawn area and interiors. This ship is very impressive. I think I would definitely like to sail on her sometime soon.

The interior spaces look very exciting - but, is it me, or aren't they very very beige/off white ???? Some colour would be good - let's hope there's some coming!!

Yes, I think the ship will have a lot of white and beige, but that is the style. I think some areas will be accented with a splash of color.

Look at QV, that ship is mostly brown but the interiors still come off as quite nice. Not a whole lot of color there either.

Overall to me at least, the decor on SOLSTICE looks to be about the most sophisticated I have seen in quite some time .... and we have only seen a small, unfinished portion of the ship.

They are definitely using the "tray" approach for the grass. This is becoming more popular in football stadiums today. The trays are set into a framework that allows them to drain quickly in the event of rain and the trays can be replaced as needed. Usually that means there are reserve trays that are growing grass somewhere else. I wonder where they will keep these. Maybe some of the grass area will be off-limits to passengers.

Still doesn't look like a lot of public deck space for almost 3000 passengers.

I agree Joe. For me I think the concerns with SOLSTICE are going to be:

1. Not enough sun-exposed deck space
2. Not enough elevators/stairs
3. No open Promenade Deck

Otherwise, I think she looks pretty amazing and I have yet to find the perfect ship.

Wonderful images of a very interesting looking ship. I like the fact that windows are returning to the bridgefronts (below the actual bridge) of several ships.

I'm glad the Celebrity blue paint stripe was not continued up to the bow. The bow lines and unique 'knuckle' design are to good to mask w/dark paint

Wonderful aerials of her and the Lawn Club. I still give it 1-year tops and it'll be gone. Too much wasted deck space up there.

Perhaps. Another good reason to sail on her now so you can experience the ship as originally designed.

Hands down I would prefer this over the Oasis of the Seas. She is a beautiful ship.
