The second picture really show how much BIGGER oasis is than freedom class. Viking lounge/loft suites look massive on top of the ship as well. Awesome pictures. Float out tomorrow, assuming all is going as planned!

I just noticed that the funnels above the viking are not completed either. if you look at the previous renderings they look much taller. I remember talk of them possible being installed after she crosses under the bridge, but then that rumor being dismissed? As of now it looks to be true

From what was understood before they made the funnels retrackable. Akerbuilder stated before that the ship would not leave the yard unless finished completly

Any guesses as to what color the hull is going to be now? From the large bow shot, it looks white like the superstructure and in the 3/4 view I see patches of light blue.

Still looks blue to me. When you look at the bow then up at the superstructure, you see a slight difference in color.

Some of the interior shots remind me of a museum.I guess it's the height of the areas. It must be pretty cold in the yards (snow).

The funnels are complete. The pipes are just retracted at the moment. AkerBuilder posted a picture of the two funnels on the ground with out the pipes installed and then posted a more recent picture with the RCCL logo added and the pipes installed with one funnel extended and one retracted. The picture with them installed appears to have them both retracted.

Very impressive. As for the funnels, all I can say is many thought QM2's was stubby. These are extra stubby!

In the first picture the left funnel has the pipes retracted, the right one has them extended. The second picture is from earlier before the pipes and RCCL logo were installed.

There are still some mysteries. We have the mystery of what the circle platform is above the miniature golf course.

I have also been wondering from day one about the large looking lounge that is underneath the Flow Riders and has rectangle shaped, angled windows overlooking the Aqua Theater several decks below. The ship's name is written just above the windows. Someone mentioned this was machinery spaces for the Flow Riders but I don't believe it. First I don't think they need a space that large and also why have windows? It's some sort of observation lounge from the looks of it, but it's not listed on the deck plan.

There are also two more observation looking lounges, one above each of the rock climbing walls. These are much smaller but again they look like they will be glass enclosed areas overlooking the Aqua Theater and the rock climbing wall just below. Again, these spaces are not shown on the deck plan.

I think we will be hearing more about both these areas.

Ernie

It also adds protection. It extends the same distance as the lifeboats. The lifeboats are usually tucked safely within the ship but Oasis has them hanging off the side. If she were to scrape something that cage would help take the blow before it hits the lifeboats.
