From the Danish newspaper BT:

The captain on Pullmantur's ZENITH has been fined by Danish authorities after he ran the ship aground in shallow waters off Copenhagen, passing too close to a group of windmills in the Öresund Strait.

ZENITH is currently at anchor off Copenhagen...

There are some photos of her in dry dock at Blohm & Voss being checked over after the event here.

Copenhagen seems to tbe the "in" place to run aground at present with ASTOR also having a problem a few days later. Guess the Little Mermaid was too small to spot

Perhaps, as she contemplates her trip to Shanghai next summer, she is feeling pouty and less than vigilant these days.

I am out of the loop, but is the Zenith sailing Asia next year? Will she be sailing Asia in the summer? Looking for an Asian cruise next summer.

not unless Pullmantur has been contracted to transport the Little Mermaid out to the Far East.

PS - Costa and RCI are probably the only lines sailing Asia during the summer season.

Poor Zenith she was one of my favorite ships...miss her.
