Hello, i was just looking at some pics of Bleu De France and i marvelled at what a nice looking ship she is. Does anyone know her specs? Wouldn`t it be nice if some of the new cruise ships could be built to a similar design, they would be stunning, not that some are not already, but she has such a nice shape.
Any feedback would be appreciated , thanks.

Yes, a nice ship and for a long time one of the very best in the world, 5 star rated as the EUROPA.

When I started to interest in cruise ships I saw her at Bremerhaven... but no photos. Later I saw she at Hamburg, but very bad weather... the I "lost" her to Asia and now she is in the Med... would be great to see her very soon ...

Bleu de France (ex Europa) is a fine ship indeed. She was and is amongst my favorites and very dear to my heart. When new she set standards and she certainly is a special vessel even today. You can find some information, links and video clips (sadly not too many) on her on this webpage.

in 1992 Europa collided with a freighter off the coast of Hong Kong. I believe it was the starboard rear quarter flank that was pierced and rebuilt.
