As for needing a tripod, didn't have it with me, so I cranked up the ISO to 800 and managed to get 1/15sec at F4.

So, they might be "clone's" in some eye's, but there is something really magical at seeing a ship all lit up with calm sea conditions creating a wonderful pattern's.

What made it better, we have suffered strong NE winds for a good few days, but overnight before the QV arrived, the wind dropped.

Had left home for work, and unfortunately didn't quite get there in time for a bow shot!

Will try and get some more "night" shots over the next few months before the ships all leave for the Caribbean or World Cruises.
