Hi everyone.
In glorious Autumn Sunshine, here is QE departing on her maiden voyage.
Ignoring all the arguments re looks, brown-ness, being just another Vista/Signature etc etc, she did make a very impressive sight sailing down Southampton Water...

Thanks a lot for these nice pictures. At least from the outside she actually is a smart looking ship. It must have been a fantastic evening - I hope it was not too cold (it seems as if there was some wind).

But thats the point they are (vista/signature) not bad looking vessels. Excellent pictures.

That ship looks allot better in the photos where you are looking at it from a 45 degree angle on the bow and seeing part of the side. Thats my favourite angle for taking photos of ships. It really is looking good brand new with clean paint and no sign of rust or wear on the hull.

Obviously the photo gallery is still working for you. I think I am losing the ability to upload due to Windows 7 the lates version.

Well, it seemed fine when I posted them, but it does seem hit and miss, so I, as the phrase goes, make hay whilst the sun shines!!

Great pics. I really don't mind the built-up 'crown' above the bridge as in a way it compliments the section forward of the funnel.

The high boxy stern is plain ugly so we probably won't be seeing many brochure images from that angle
