I logged on tonight hoping to see some photos of AOTS & OOTS together. When I checked AIS AOTS is docked and OOTS is off the screen. Anyone able to see the two near each other off the coast this morning or perhaps this evening?

This is the only one I have been able to find so far. I am sure there will be others.

Wow, these 2 ships together have more people than a ... well, i don't know, but imagine how many 747 would be necessary to fill them!

Why Allure don't have the solar cells above Viking Crown Lounge? Too expensive and not so usefull?

Nice pix but I think it is a digitally made up picture. The ship in the backround looks smaller.
IMHO.

I thought so, too, but then look at the crowds of people on each ship, all located on the sides facing each other. Not sure when this was taken, perhaps late Friday or early Saturday?

I also watched them on one of the local FLL webcams last night. Was really cool to watch them meet up. That photo is real.

If you look at the Allure you can see that the forward most lifeboat has been moved aft in comparison to the Oasis. The additional structure added to the Oasis to protect the lifeboats from wave action is not required on the Allure because of this change.

Yep, it's the real deal. Mortgage Mobile webcam took a lot of photos, but you have to buy them to see how they turned out. There was even a couple of tugs out there throwing water spray up in front of them as they met. Here is the site to see that:

Its perspective, what's further ahead is smaller. Yes the ships were together just outside Port Everglades yesterday afternoon.

The Oasis didn't receiver her's until she arrived at Ft. Lauderdale (most likely not in the original order contract), the Allure just arrived so they probably haven't had a chance to install them yet.

I love the shot of the three Princess ships (is is St Maarten?) at anchor where even in a sheltered bay, ships are prone to swing around with the wind and tide as opposed to all the others which are either docked or underway and therefore easier to photograph in the way the owners wanted. I wonder how long the aerial photographer had to wait to get that perfect choreography!

All great pics!

Tony

That picture is in Cabo San Lucas. I took pictures like that of the ship I was working on at the time by parasailing over the ships in Cabo.
