This is turning into cult here as everybody is talking about it.

Put on the TV this morning. Nordnorge was heading into a port and was welcomed by locals with a choir and a rather out of tune brassband.

Make sure you watch sailing through Trollfjord which is around midnight Saturdaynight

It's really awesome and very well done. I love how you can even link to the radar on the ship.

They must have several cameras positioned on the ship as one shot is even looking under the bow as she breaks through the water.

Wish I had more time to really watch and enjoy this. I loved my Norwegian Fjords cruise and this really brings back great memories.

This is basically a Norwegian TV program aimed at a Norwegian public, which is also streamed on the web.

Geiranger coverage was spectacular with Aurora and Princess Danae in the background.

Last night 1.34 Norwegians watched the first night for some time. That's a very high rating considering there are only about 4,5 inhabitants in Norway. On the web there are 30% viewers from abroad.

OK, Nordnorge finally arrived in Kirkenes this morning.

The success of this program has been huge and phenomenal here in Norway. About every two out of three Norwegians has watched it during the last days with a record on Sunday night when the ship sailed into Trollfjord. And it has been the biggest Norwegian online success, also with Facebook and Twitter.

This morning Queen Sonja welcomed the ship on the Royal Yacht Norge and Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg has personally phoned the captain to congratulate him. In every town whole communities came out to meet the ship, even last night in the pouring rain and wind.

There is lots of speculation what will be next. The southbound trip might be another option.

Thanks for the update AKer builder, nice to see that such a unique event was able to build enough support for a second broadcast.
