Spent a wonderful afternoon on board the COSTA DELIZIOSA last week when she made her maiden Los Angeles call. I feel fortunate to have been able to visit the ship during a very tumultuous time for the company. Lunch was great, passengers a nice mix of primarily French, Italian and German nationalities and the ship was full of pleasant decorative surprises. The last Costa ship I saw in Los Angeles was DAPHNE in the mid-1980s. First one I visited in Los Angeles was TN EUGENIO C in 1978.

Great photos all of them. Thank You.

In summer 2010 i did a 10 Night cruise from Savona Italy to Copenhagen, on this ship.
It was a wonderful cruise, and I found the ship very attractive.

These Vista-class ships has a lot of space pr pax. i.m.o.

Absolutely stunning Peter, if there was one thing I could do; it's do what you're able to do. Go onboard a ship; just to take photos of the interiors and exteriors.

Thank you for posting the pictures.

Does she not have a forward facing observation lounge? The Cunard pair have one (the Commodore Club), and I think the two latest HAL 'enhanced Vistas' have one.

Is it me, or is Mr. Farcus's décor a little tamer on this ship compared to his Carnival work?

(I did say 'a little' rather than 'a lot')

There is no forward facing observasion lounge. This place is the Samsara Spa area, and the gym.
From open deck 11 there is good look forward, and from the gym too.

Great pics, wouldn't want to stay too long lingering over a meal in the dining room though

So she has a double deck gym/spa instead of an observation lounge. WESTERDAM and ARCADIA both have a Crow's Nest and QE the Commodore Club - all rooms basically the same layout, just different soft furnishings. QE could have done with an all weather pool area too.
