It sound like another pipe dream, however, many high tech companies in the U.S. indeed have problems recruiting from aboard due to visa restrictions.

From what I understand, the ocean can get fairly nasty in that area during the winter (and other times of the year for that matter). Not sure how much work these people will be doing when the weather turns.

It looks like they would be able to arrive thru the US via travel visa. This is to work around the worker visa, which is more difficult to obtain.
