Carnival Cruise Lines have finally named their 25th ship and it's Carnival Vista. What do you think about the name choice, I kinda like it.

should have been Carnival Fiesta.....I swear there is no logic in naming them ships lol...but i guess Vista is not that bad..

They considered a new series ... the Carnival Breakdown, the Carnival Towline, Carnival Spam, etc. .... but did not think passengers would flock to those ships.

At least it will be the only Vista for the moment ... until we get the Vista of the Seas .... versus Magic where we have a Disney, Carnival, a Magicia, etc.

Since it is number 25 it should have been the Carnival Mardi Gras but then they would have shown interest in history instead of the bottom line.

LOL...Carnival Breakdown lol nice one.....but i was thinking why they never used the old names...Festivale, Mardi Gras maybe Tropicale....I know Carnivale won't work lol...Carnival Carnivale lol

The name Vista could be confusing given the number of Vista class ships in Carnival Corp's fleet with P&O, Cunard, HAL and Costa. The Vista class is a close relation to Carnival's Spirit class and the new Carnival Vista belongs to neither.
