ARCADIA left Southampton at Midday today heading for a refit and the addition of yet more cabins. 23 of them and one suite within a new block to be added on deck 10, above which will be a 'sun basin'. See detail on Lloyd Werft's site.
Tom's Blog has more detail regarding interior changes.

The weather was perhaps fitting for the occasion

While I'm never too happy when Carnival piles up even more superstructure on its ships, this addition isn't too bad as it goes. NOORDAM received the same addition recently:

Does anybody have one schedule of drydocks for the rest of the P&O fleet?

Her refit was delayed by a couple of days due to the bad weather with strong winds across northern Europe, with a 2 night mini cruise being cancelled, but she arrived in Southampton just after midnight 15 Dec. Sat alongside yesterday in the pouring rain and departed for Madeira this evening a little late.

I took a few photos today - to be honest, had I not known she was having these extra cabins, I would probably not have even noticed. I think they are less obvious than those on Noordam without the thick white band above joining the glass screens.

She was a long way off, but from this angle you don't even notice either
