Are people seriously paying this much for these??? I must have about 5 or 6 in my cupboard...i should seriously start posting stuff on e-bay...wonder how much the Waterford 150th Bell would go for

Wow, I sold two of mine a few years ago for about 1/100th of that price! This is going to cost the seller a pretty penny and still come up with "No Sale."

I have one too...exact same print with seal etc. I got it from my Cunard Sales rep back in 1994. I have it in a decent frame behind a high-quality glass. It hangs in my basement....I might consider selling it if I can get that kind of money for it????

I also have a Queen Mary (1936) print, framed, etc....numbered...it's an image of Queen Mary arriving in New York on her maiden voyage in 1936, also autographed by artist and last captain of QM.

Another unique item I have is an oven scrapper I got off the SS United States...A WOODEN OVEN SCRAPPER.

So there were 3 not 2 (the piano and butcher block) wooden items onboard SS US??? How interesting...history in motion

I wonder sometimes what people think when they selling on E-bay and other sites. RIDICULOUS.

Was this a relations gift from Cunard?

We got ours as a gift during our crossing in July of 1990. They were celebrating the anniversary that whole year.

Thanks Joe. As I thought this was a gift. Actually I hate these sort sellers. Spoiling the market. But the blame also to those fools buying this over priced stuff.

Although I have several copies of this (Cunard sent them to me when they were first issued), I've always thought it to be the ugliest thing Cunard has ever put out.

$2,400? I wouldn't give ya $24.00 for it!
