I predicted pob troubles, but not this early!

I would imagine that every effort will be made to rectify these problems without delaying her entering into service.

While cruising on the Carnival Legend recently, I spotted 2 gentleman in white coveralls with "engine Room" on the back. One spoke alittle english so I ask and he told me 11,000 volts was the operating voltage of the motors at 50 or 60 cycles per second. I tried to communicate asking how they controlled the speed of the motors, he did not understand my english well enough. (There are several ways depending on the type of motor.) The captain did inform us the 2 motors did generate 83,000 horse power. During the cruise our TV had a channel that always displayed the speed of the ship, 24knots was the fastest I noticed. "That ship would flat rock and roll"
