Ferry Toshima is the Last Ferry never built by Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd - Uraga Shipyard, They were also built Shirahama Maru (1989), Kaiwo Maru (1989) and Takanami (2003).

Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) Takanami is the last destroyer completed on March 12, 2003 and SHI Closed Uraga Shipyard on March 31, 2003. SHI has integrate to Yokosuka shipyard at Oppama in the same city of Yokosuka on April 1, 2003.
