There are a number of things wrong with it that I don't have the money to fix it with. It needs to be totally rewired, it needs new outlets, it needs to be grounded. Only one section needs a new roof, plus the yard is way too big, this is a house really that needs two people to care for it. It's just myself and the cats. I'm alot better off selling it.

Thank you NAL, I'm hoping to get back to my old stomping ground, Lady Lake, FL. When I do. I will let post the moving time before I get down there.

Good for you Deb.

I'm looking to sell my house also but have to find a condo in a particular building nearby and where my DD also lives. I've looked at 4 units but they need just as much work done to them as my house. Unfortunately no one is selling their condo at the present time. I know something will come up and the sooner the better.

The pool is driving me crazy always needing something done to it; too many stairs in the house to climb up and down and the gardeners are driving me up the wall.

I'm hoping I don't have to spend another winter here but who knows.

I know you've wanted to move back to Florida for some time and so glad that your dream has come true.

Cheers, Diane

Aren't you going to miss the snow and cold weather? The beautiful Fall colors.
Christmas with snow.
Spring when everything comes alive again.
Florida may be OK in the Winter but those HOT and Humid Summers.
As stated you'll be close to the cruse ports-good thing.

Frosty.....I'm with Deb on this one. I love Florida year round and will move for year-round living as soon as I can sell my house at a decent price. I enjoy the heat and humidity, but must admit only because of A/C indoors. When I'm out, it can be as hot and humid as it wants!

Thank you Diane. I'm just glad to get the house off my hands. I had no business getting one in the first place. Now, I'm learning more about myself and know what I can handle and can't. A lady I talked to the other day told me she had a retired teacher from Atlanta that was born here in this town, wanting to move back here and wanted to know how much she wanted for her home. The note was left on this lady's mailbox. I guess some people are wanting to leave big cities.
NAL has it right I'm not going to miss the snow, the terrible horrifying tornadoes (although we get them in FL). I just want to be back where I belong and I know I will be happy there.
