Yesterday, I got the most terrible news in my life I was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of bowel Canser, it spread to my liver and lungs, and it is not curable. In time I will loose the battle. There are a view options to try the expend my life and next Thursday a team of specialist of the Hospital and the Canser centre will make a plan fore me and this will presented to me next Monday. Then I must make a dissension what I want and not want. You know I go fore the best possible alternative and want to life as long as possible BUT not to every price. Maybe not time to talk about it But I'm happy that I'm Dutch and we in The Netherlands have the Euthanasia laws. It give me great personal comfort that I don't need to suffer when time is there. But fore now I'm in a fighting mode and want to battle the Canser in me. That bravely said I'm very very sad and afraid fore things to come. I will try to post and be around on Cruise Talk as long as possible and enjoy all you're post. Ben. [ 03-15-2012: Message edited by: Maasdam ]

Hi Ben,I know you don't know me as I've been a "lurker" here on the board for several years. I rarely post, but after reading your difficult and heartfelt message, I felt compelled to let you know that God loves you and wants the best for you. I hope you will allow me the honor of praying for your health, comfort, and strength in the coming days. God Bless you! Garnett

I guess its time to break out that bucket list. No better time than the present. Stay strong and fight. Know that I will be keeping an eye out for your updates. I wish you the best. Jeremy
