Yes, Pam, you're right! She has the best voice. We will miss her. Too bad Cunard won't transfer her horn to QM2. In spite of the fact that QM2's horn came from QM, it's a bit of a disappointment by comparison. Thanks for the video Pam.

Great video clip, Pam! Didn't you have one of Oceanic sounding her whistle while departing Barcelona? I believe it as taken from another ship as she passed. Is that clip still around?

Regards,

Excellent Pam, nothing like hearing her 'voice'; thank you so much for posting this video. I could go to sleep hearing that.

I always loved the deep tone of her horn. QM2's (and QV's) are not nearly as good. I wanted to love QM2's but what a disapointment after hearing QE2's so many times. Would'nt it be wonderful if the new QE had a similar one??

She knew Pam was there and wanted to make her smile after we saw her off at Hythe.

That whistle is what I'll really miss. I can occasionally hear the likes of Oceana from here but in general the QE2 is the only one I have all these decades. I don't want it in a Vista. Should be in something worthy.
